What is freedom? Is it recklessness? I carry both within my gypsy soul They tear me up Yet make me whole.
Let freedom’s arms wrapped around my waist Let its gentle breeze whisper in my ear Telling me its wild secrets Finding my weakness.
I wish to be kidnapped To fly away to a self-made paradise Where nothing is perfect Yet life brighter shines.
I wish to taste a kiss from recklessness To trust without fear To dream without nightmares.
My gypsy soul is calling I feel the blood of my ancients rushing through my veins Free and wild they were Misunderstood and condemned Yet their strength and beauty could not be denied The mundane laws of society they defied.
Soul of a poet A philosopher’s mind That is my heritage Although at times chaotic It's essence has always been hypnotic.
I want to dance with the shadow of life Come to me sweet spirit of life Infuse your breath on me Make me fly high. I wish to be reckless again I wish to ran wild To howl with the wolves And ride with the bulls Spirit of life I am waiting Come and take me.
Let me submerge myself naked In the ocean’s cold water Let magick finally catch me Let it hold me tight and entice me.
Let freedom and recklessness Deceive my routine and test my sanity Who cares if everyone else thinks I've lost myself That I’ve succumbed to madness? It is better than to only feel sadness. Let me dance to life’s sensual tune As my spirit spreads its wings I wan to once more lose myself To the sands of irrationality. Yes, I am a gypsy and a misfit I am Sofia And life loves kissing my lips With fervent passion until I am in ecstasy. I am freedom and madness Recklessness and sadness, I live in my own lane You can join in Or just fade away. Matter’s not what you think of me I am here to shake your comfort zone I am tornado I am volcano I am rainbow I am rain after a hot day Look into my eyes, let me take you away. Do you dare? For my journey is not for the faint of heart You need to raise the warrior within You need to come back to life And maybe just maybe together we will ignite! -Sofia E. Falcone-
