Surrender

**Rough copy

Your love hit me like cupid's arrow
My walls failed me as your lips kissed mine
I remember each kiss on each wound and scar
I felt safe in your arms
Fears were discarded
As I surrendered to your charms

You saw my shadow and chose to stay
Your arms sheltering me from pain
The ropes which once engulfed me
Your hands gently released

As your hands caressed all of me
I sunk into my wildest desires
I could feel my whole body shiver
You awakened my senses
You awakened my soul

As you untied me
I felt your lips kissed every inch of my skin
I let myself go
Surrendering to your dominion
Awake but sleep in the art of love

I love how you walked into my life
Slow but in charge
Awakening all the fires inside
Looking for more than the ecstasy of a full orgasm
You were searching for yourself
Within the mirror of my soul

I willfully surrender
To your strength,
your love,
your control,
Vulnerable yet strong
Like the warrior's from old

I became yours completely
The sunrise showering us with its warm rays
All over our naked, glistening skin
Where others welcomed the day
We lay exhausted of sex
Covered on each other's sweat.

Your love gets me drunk
I am yours and you are mine
This way we will stay as the years go by

I am the tornado which brought you back to life
You are the cooling water I thirsted for so long
Memories of love and passion
We will always remember and never forget
The loving scent of sweat and beautiful sex.

I believe, with quiet fervor, that one soul can shift the course of many. I write not from abstraction, but from the raw immediacy of lived experience and learned studies - from the labyrinth of my own challenges, triumphs, questions and awakenings. In offering the contours of my inner world, I hope to awaken in others a remembrance of their own power, their own unclaimed wholeness.
