Dying For Your Touch

(Rough Copy)

I wish I could shout my feelings
That all may know the secret which consumes my heart
Twisted channels block my soul
Which lately only know of infinite pain

I wish I could command nature
I would ask the wind to carry to you
The delicate song played on my guitar
Expressing to you my love
And desires locked within body and heart

I would ask the rain to gently fall on you
That you may know the way I ache to caress your body
I would ask butterflies to dance around you
That you may remember the magick hidden inside you

When I look in your eyes, I see me
For your soul and I were forged on the same night
By the same ancestral fires
Bound to be apart, dying slowly of desire

My thirst grows as does my longing
Life is now forcing me to choose
It demands I give up my indecisive path
Demanding I find my way back to you

Your body commands that I surrender
Your soul and passion ignite my fires
I wish to possess every inch of you
My lover, my goddess, my muse.

I believe, with quiet fervor, that one soul can shift the course of many. I write not from abstraction, but from the raw immediacy of lived experience and learned studies - from the labyrinth of my own challenges, triumphs, questions and awakenings. In offering the contours of my inner world, I hope to awaken in others a remembrance of their own power, their own unclaimed wholeness.
