Loving you has been a gift
It has shown me the beauty of opening up the heart
Although sometimes my mind betrays me
And fear takes its powerful hold
Bringing to mind moments which left scars
Another lifetime...
Yet the memories still haunt my mind.
Let me learn from you how to survive the storm
Show me your great warrior's heart
Let me enjoy your divine masculine in all its glorious splendor
Without fears of life's rollercoaster moments
For love is more than just transient emotions
Love is what remains when the storm subsides.
Teach me....
Teach me to leave the dark painful moments behind
Let their monstrosity be reduced to meaningless scribbles
Instead of the massive scars left behind.
Although Free Spirited, when it comes to love there is fear
Teach me to fly again...
Kiss me, for your lips are the ambrosia I need
Food of the gods...
The miracle of healing sealed within a kiss.
Teach me to trust again...
Keep teaching me, like you already do
When you tell me I am not "too much"
That I am your long-awaited gift
Your Precious Gem
Your love...
Your heart.
In return I shall let you go beyond the skies
Without worrying about falling
Without shame of your darkness or your light
For your heart is safe within my hands.
With you I dare be all of me
With you I dare live beyond virtue or sin
Willingly allowing you to sail my seas
Until you reach the sacred place
Where your body shakes as more than two bodies unite
Two ancient spirits colliding on a bed of love
Where no one can hurt us...
A magickal place beyond.
How not to love you, when you are love incarnate
You, who sees past the walls I created
Past the armor and the fears
You've become my lover...
My partner...
My friend.

I believe, with quiet fervor, that one soul can shift the course of many. I write not from abstraction, but from the raw immediacy of lived experience and learned studies - from the labyrinth of my own challenges, triumphs, questions and awakenings. In offering the contours of my inner world, I hope to awaken in others a remembrance of their own power, their own unclaimed wholeness.
